Fortune I think is the one of the better places to stay. Bhimas Residency is other place.
Good food and good parking. Been staying at there for a long time now whenever I need to stay in Tirupati,

Suggesstions for accomodation in Kalpetta, Wayanad

Hi guys,

I'm planning a tour to Wayanad. I shall leave Bangalore around 5 am.

My Iternary:-
1. 1st day Afternoon - Pookat Lake
2. 2nd day Morning - Lakkidi valley view point -> Soochippara falls -> Banasura sagar dam -> Jain Temple (Sultan Battery).
3. 3rd day - Kuruva Island -> Tholpetty Wild Life Santuary.

Is the above iternary good? Please suggest me places to stay in and around Kalpetta as this would be my center of place to visit various places from my iternary as above. I enquired Woodlands in Kalpetta but they are fully booked. I'm in lookout for a decent budget accommodation like Woodlands.

Thanks,
Ramki

For a budget stay, you can try Haritagiri ( Haritagiri Hotel wayanad kalpetta ) or The Royal Palm Resort ( The Royal Palm Resort ) , both are in Kalpetta

Feedback on Indus Outback

Any feedback on Indus Outback? They seem to offer pretty good discounts on JLR properties compared to the JLR website.

Looking for how reliable/trustworthy these guys are.

re: A thread on Accommodation & Rates

Can anyone recommend a good clean hotel in Udupi near the Krishna Temple? My basic criteria is clean toilets. I have tried Hotel Ramakrishna and Summer Palace and found that both are booked for the coming weekend.

Thanks in advance

Indus Outback Redirecting...
First time hearing about them. Did you enquire with them?, chances are the rates may be for weekdays / off season. May be if you confirm the date you will be able to get the exact rates. Also, I know for sure JLR gives a flat 10% discount on select booking (booking done through employee etc.), may be indusoutback being bulk bookers they too get a substantial discount from JLR, part of which they able to pass on to customer.
However, check out with JLR once before you book. They have their offices in Bangalore at Church street and also heard opened a new office near to Cosmos mall, Kundanahalli road.

Thanks mpksuhas. I checked with them...looks like their rates in the website are outdated

Those guys came back with the same rates as shown by JLR. I booked JLR online where I got a 5% discount.

Trichur is a small town and you will get plenty of hotels within 2-3 kms from "Round". You may check "Mangala Towers", which should be close to round IIRC.

Adding to what Cool Clouds said, I also found Ashoka Inn to be a decent place.
Its right opposite Shaktan Bus Stand.

If you are going for the Thrissur Pooram time, you can forget about getting any rooms in Thrissur between now and May 3rd,every single inch of space would be sold out.

Take a look at 'Admar Mutt' guest house(opp. to woodlands hotel). Clean toilets, ample space for parking and close to temple.

Can anyone recommend a decent place to stay in Ooty? We are looking for two rooms preferably 2bhk serviced apts. If not, neat rooms with clean toilets will do.

Thanks in advance.
