You can stay at Space inn resort. 1300 per night for a 1 BHK resort. There are two rooms with bed and a draing cum dining room. Food is also good.

Little earth is very good. They have 3-4 resorts. Sherlock and Kings Court are properties in the town but have good views esp Sherlock.
Thanks to Ranjit for this find!

Here are some snaps. For Sherlock, just ask the rooms in the new wing. The old rooms open right on the Restaurant.

Re: A thread on Accomodation & Rates?

Little Earth is highly reccomended,as Ampere suggested.Sherlocks is the place to stay if you are lookign for a place to stay within Ooty, and if outside of ooty and cut off from civilization, then stay at Destiny Farmstay. But mind you the place is really isolated, and you would be dependent on their transport for moving around, something that is not to my liking!

I have also seen folks, do a round up. In other words stay 2 days in Sherlock and one day in Destiny to experience both. Since the road to destiny goes via Emerald/Avalanche lakes, you get to see them as default!
