Re: stay options in Hubli-dharwad

Apart from the options mentioned above, you can also try Kamat Yatrinivas opp SDM Dental college. It will help if you mention where exactly is the wedding.

Re: stay options in Hubli-dharwad

Some decent options in Dharwad town are
1) Hotel Mandar - Near court
2) Hotel Hoysala (budget) - On PB road
3) Hotel Central Park (budget) - On PB road next to Hoysala

Near Dharwad
1) Travel Inn - Its on Hubli-Dwd road near SDM dental college and distance from hotel to DWD is around 5KM.

Hubli
1) Hotel hans
2) Hotel Naveen (3/4 star)

I do not know much about the new hotels (is there any?). But I prefer Travel Inn or Mandar.

Re: stay options in Hubli-dharwad

I stayed in Mandar few years back (in 2005) and it was good and they had room service. But do not know the condition now. Parking is not a problem there. Travel Inn is good + enough parking space available.

Choose nothing else but Travel Inn or Kamat Yatrinivas.
Others are not good any more.

Re: A thread on Accomodation & Rates?

Hi! I will be in Bangalore with my family (4 adults, 1 Kid) for 1.5 weeks (work location is near Dairy Circle). I am looking for a decent (& affordable) service apartment accommodation (with kitchen etc.) nearby (Jayanagar, JP Nagar, Koramangla etc.). Any suggestions/recommendations/advice ?

Re: A thread on Accomodation & Rates?

Guys any good hotels in Chikmagalur? Planning to visit with some friends during mid-april.

4 people looking for 2 rooms. Budget -- around 2/2.5k per day per room. Will be spending around 3-4 days there.

Also, are homestays a better option?

Hotel Naveen is the best but in the outskirts of the city.

Hotel Metropolis is a good choice with clean and spacious rooms, good food and cheap rates. IMO, value for money

Nagarahole

Stayed at the property called 'The Kings Sanctury'.

Pluses
Very spacious rooms
Clean and neat place and rooms
Very courteous staff
Good food (some options were average)

Negatives
Will charge 6K for safari if you are the only person
Nothing much to do at Nagarahole other than going for the Safari

Re: A thread on Accomodation & Rates?

I'm looking for a good serviced apartment in Gurgaon for around 3 months stay with a budget of around 50-60K per month. I have found one on MG Road within the budget, but not sure how reliable the guy is, especially since i need to make the payment in advance. Any suggestions ?

Not sure what your budget is,we usually stay in a place called Case De Bengaluru in Koramangala, just off Jyothi Nivas College, conveniently located. Its about INR2800 per night with a kitchenette and all other facilities.Highly reccomended place. You could speak to Jagdeep Pillai, who heads up the sales on 968 666 1267
