That is good news.Planning to go to Indore via Bhuranpur and Khandwa if that stretch is decent can definitely try this route

I completed the Hyderabad Nanded - Washim - Samruddhi Expressway - Aurangabad yesterday. Excellent stretch all the way through. Drove 90% in cruise control (except a patch before and after Nanded).

Took the ORR at 9:45 am and was in Aurangabad at 6pm. Speed maintained at 90-95 on normal highway and 100 on Samruddhi Expressway.

Hi everyone, this thread really helped me on my recent visit to Aurangabad/Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, so I wanted to share my experience and all the details of my road trip, so that it may help the future travellers on this route.

I drove from Hyderabad to Aurangabad in August 2024 with my family, in our brand new Mahindra Scorpio-N(pet name Hornet). The drive was very comfortable and we were able to reach in 8 hrs with 30-40 mins of food/bio breaks. (Gmap stated 9+ hours). Possibly I drove a little fast .

We took the following route both ways and trusted the google map's default route or shortest route displayed.

Also, I exported all the video files from my dashcam and created a timelapse, so that who ever wants to drive from Aurangabad to Hyderabad, can see the real state of the road as on Aug 2024. Hope this helps!!
