| Kolkata to Sambalpur - Route Options
I am planning to do a road trip in my C3 from Kolkata to Debrigarh National Park, near Sambalpur. I searched the forum for route options and found two posts suggesting the following route:
Kolkata - Kharagpur - Ghatshila - Chaibasa - Rourkela - Jharsuguda - Sambalpur
But the posts are from 2020 and 2021.
Google is suggesting the following route:
Kolkata - Kharagpur - Baharagora - Keonjhar - Pallahara - Sambalpur [mostly following NH 49]
Which route is more advisable given current road conditions?
Also, I do not have a BH number plate. My car is registered in West Bengal. What are the rules applicable to travelling in other states? I will be crossing Jharkhand and staying in Odisha for upto a week. |
