Bangalore to Varkala : Route Queries

I am planning a trip through Kerala in Jan 2025. I have booked a polo tsi self drive.

The route is Kochi -> Munnar 2 days -> Varkala 2 days -> Allepy ( Marari beach) 2 days -> Guruvayur temple -> Kochi

It will be my wife and our 3 year old.

Are there any concerns with the route?

Munnar to Varkala will be the longest journey. anything to keep in mind?

While I want to cover Varkala, if the road is a major challenge- I am open to skipping it.

Hi ,
Need route suggestions for travelling from Bellandur (Bangalore) to Varkhala. Will be driving a BMW 330Li .As per google maps its showing 3 suggestions. Hence unable to pick and choose. Please help with some suggestions for the same. Also, any suggestions for good stay options, preferably with cliff / ocean view ?
