Request for Suggestion to plan for Mumbai to Himachal Pradesh road trip

Dear Team BHP experts,

First of all, please excuse me if this is not the right way to ask for the suggestions in the forum.

I am newly registered member of team bhp, though following team bhp threads from last 4 years for all my road trips.

I am planning a road trip from Mumbai starting from 27th Nov 2023 for 14 days to cover Himachal Pradesh or Uttrakhand.(I researched a lot but couldn't finalized the destination)

I already covered Rajasthan, Gujarat, Kerala, Maharashtra, Goa, Tamilnadu in past hence plan is for Uttrakhand or HP.

I am a solo driver and have driven to Kanyakumari from Mumbai in 2 days.

I have diesel Baleno for the trip and will travel with my wife.

Need experts from this group to help me plan a detail itinerary for the trip covering
1. Destination(UK or HP. My wife wants to see the snow , if not the snowfall)

2. Day wise Route(Preferred longer good 4 lane road over shorter narrow road)
3. Hotel(Budget upto 2k for night halt. Upto 4k for hotels where I will spend some leisure time)
4. Day wise Tourist places to cover(wild life strict no, temples are ok, moutain/hill station/snow/lake/beaches are preferred places)
5. Permit requirement, if any

Open for any suggestions.

Hey everyone!!
I've got a 2012 Fortuner. We're a family of 4 adults and love to traverse our beautiful country by road, having completed a big chunk of our country over the last decade and a half.
We're planning a road trip from Mumbai to Naldehra in the month of April via road and would love to get inputs about various places to visit on the way, any preferred routes, routes to avoid, and anything else that you folks could come up with.
Sharing the itinerary we've loosely planned.
Mumbai(Borivali)-Kandaghat-Mashobra-Naldehra-Mumbai(Borivali).
Tentative dates are 02/04/2025-12/04/2025.
Loosely it'll be 10-11 days and can't be extended more than that.
PS:- we're Club Mahindra members and have bookings at the above three resorts and hence the roadtrip is planned in such a way. Requesting mods to add this thread to the respective section.
