Hello BHPians,

I am travelling to Kolkata in mid of May and looking for Car rental services like Revv and Zoom. Please advice what is the best car rental in Kolkata and if we have any delivery centers in Kolkata to go and pickup the vehicle. The door step delivery is not feasible for me as the stay is out of their coverage area.

I have used Zoom so far in Kolkata and experience is dependent more on the car than Zoom or any other company you book. Sometimes you get the car new, clean and in good mechanical condition and sometimes its the opposite. This is the main issue between your personal vehicle and rental car.

Zoom has multiple vehicle depot in Kolkata and also individual locations of owners who let out their vehicle on Zoom. While booking you will get the location of the vehicle you want to book.

I recently had a requirement to book Innova Crysta in Kolkata for upcoming Kolkata trip and used MyChoice for the same. Never experienced their services but other Bhpians are satisfied with their experience:

Many thanks SamfromIndia. I used Revv in 2020 when I visited Kolkata. It wasn't really that great. I booked a Santro Automatic for city drive, but at the last minute they upgraded me to a Baleno Automatic. But when I went to get the car, it was in bad shape and had a KA registration. When the driver was questioned about the fuel which was almost empty, he said, "You will find many fuel pumps in the area," and left. The vehicle was dirty and appeared to have been driven from KA just the day before and handed over without having been cleaned.

I just checked Mychoize and looks like there is no Automatic cars available with them.

In the same boat. Have planned a visit last week of December 2023 and don't feel like driving my Scorpio all the way over to WB.

Any suggestions?
