A good progress on Greenfield section length around 343 KM with in Andhra Pradesh and remaining length 186 KM which is need to be upgrade both NH 44 and NH66. People also started calling this Highway as BKV expressway ( Bangalore-Kadapa-Vijayawada)

Yes Earth work is fully on through the entire green field stretch. All the way from NH44 start point just beyond Puttaparthi exit till Addanki.

Here is the location where the expressway originates from the NH44 (Bangalore Hyd Highway). You go slight ahead after the Puttaparthy exit at Bagepalli. You will the trumpet exchange coming up.

So definitely the greenfield section is coming along with good progress. Like I had mentioned earlier I can see earth work pretty much going on at all sections from the starting point all the way to Addanki. Add to it the expansion from Addanki to Vijaywada via Chillakaluripet/Guntur. Lot of brownfield expansion of the NH16. And last but not least the additional western bypass at Vijayawada and the new bridge on Krishna!

Lots of progress coming along on this expressway. One of the silently coming along expressways. I can already see the earthwork end to end. Addanki interchange on N16 also should slowly come up.

Would be interesting to see how they cut through the Cumbum range east of Mydukur.

Also north of Mydkur on the bypass there has to be a clover leaf on NH40 or later to be called the Surat-Chennai Expressway. Also Mydukur will see the expressway cutting through the famed NH67. Not sure how the interface is planned. I assume it has to be a common solution.
