I'll be travelling from Ernakulam.
Rtpcr for one person is enough?
You sure?

Agreed, but one needs to select Medical Emergency first and get the ball rolling. That's tricky in my opinion.

Re: Interstate travel with the Covid-19 restrictions

Left for Bangalore from Chennai Saturday early morning at 02:15, reached home in Bangalore at 06:30. Drove non-stop, barricades were present all the way in TN and police were there in all of them, but since it was late night no one bothered to check the epass.

While entering Karnataka at Attibele they have built a makeshift camp next to the toll plaza to check for covid documents, but again same case of free entry with no checks at dawn.

Noticed cops pulling over all TN registered cars (saw around 10 cars when I passed) just before the Electronic city entrance, just at the signal. No KA registered cars were stopped.

Hi, could you please state the reason given in the E-pass to exit TN ? I am planning for Chennai Bangalore this week to vacate my house at BLR. The E-pass options were pretty much limited to medical emergencies and death. There was an others column but unsure what needs to be filled in there.

Others is for people who are going out of Tamil Nadu. So, you can select this and put the actual reason or say "stranded passenger".

Re: B'lore Airport?

Any traveled into B'lore Airport, in the recent past?
Are they asking for RT-PCR test report on arrival?

I had a personal emergency and quoted that, Arun has pointed out the same. the E-pass approval is immediate so I don't think anyone is actually reading the reasons and approving it.

Undertook this journey in the past week. Makeshift tents and barricades are present throughout the route specially in Maharashtra. Started from home at 01:00am. Reached Maharashtra border at 08:00am. No checks but while on Nasik highway I was stopped. Since RTPCR results are coming in very late, didn’t have it. Showed them the doctor’s certificate I had stating that I am ok to travel. My Maharashtra e-pass was rejected but I didnt tell them. Just showed them the reference number that I had applied and so they allowed me. Rest of the journey was normal.

By Air. If you check health/travel requirements on airline sites, RT-PCR is mandated only for entry to KA from MH, KL, CH, PB.

So, do they distinguish between arriving flights in B'lore airport?

My sis will be flying from Mumbai Via Goa into B'lore. Will she be asked for one?

Re: Interstate travel with the Covid-19 restrictions

Hi ,

Am planning to travel with family from Bangalore to Kannur, by road, this weekend . Assuming the Lockdown in Kerala is lifted on 9th, am planning to take the Jagratha e-pass , and
RTPCR reports for all .
1. Do I need anything else to show ?
2. Is it mandatory to have the RTCPR for all (3) of us , or only one should do?
3. E=pass will be printed and stuck to the widshield. If the RTCPR report on the mobile enough ?

Anybody clarification on the above would be helpful.
2.
