Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

An absent minded biker almost hit my car head on today. More than the brakes, horn saved the day.

What an idiot

Insta reel making at a new level. At first it looked like a "standard" hands-free driving. But this was way more dangerous than that.
If I had a clearer video I would've certainly reported this to BTP

Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

This happened on NICE Road.
The bikers saw another bike on road shoulder and suddenly decided to drive between the trucks.
I am surprised at their risk assessment.

Stupdity x3

So I was enjoying a late night driving towards Hinjewadi phase 3 with my family, nothing fancy, just minding my own driving. And Boom...not 1 or 2, but back to back 3 stupids spotted on my dashcam.

We cursed them politely and moved on.

Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

On my recent visit to Patna, this Hector fellow was trying to overtake but due to narrow 2 lane under construction road, there was no space. Then he tries to overtake from left but couldn't as evident from the video that a Sonet was blocking the road. Just about half a kilometre ahead, on a 2 lane bridge, this fellow attempts an overtake when there was no gap forcing me to go to extreme left and nearly stopping. There was no signal whatsoever given by the Hector fellow. Even the truck driver was startled and all I could hear were some cuss words.

The worst part for me here is the guy keeps on arguing how everything's recorded after rearending the Celerio before driving like a maniac within city limits. I've constantly seen this, somehow braking is considered to be wrong and we're always supposed to drive according to the maniacs tailgating! Where do these people learn driving for godssake.

This video is self-incriminating evidence. I hope this is brought to notice of local police and appropriate action is taken against these idiots.

Moving from 2W to 4W. Here's another over-smart guy :

Toyota Fortuner owner tries jumping kerb: Gets royally stuck

The video was recorded in an area that had recently experienced heavy rains and flooding, resulting in a traffic jam. The driver of the Fortuner was either attempting to overtake other vehicles or return home, but instead drove the SUV onto the median strip. Although the front wheels successfully climbed up the median, the SUV became stuck as the strip was not wide enough to accommodate it.

I’ve seen the being done alot in 5 seater cars
and this is a terrible place to put kids in. Imagine the poor kids in a already tiny space :(

Becomes even more dangerous when the car is involved in a rear-ending incident. Can we stop this practice please?

Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

I got a set of clips on bad driving.

The first clip is from my return journey from Coimbatore last week. These 2 guys on the bike seem to have fun antagonizing every other road user just for the fun of it. Having been behind the wheel for over 7hrs, lost my cool for just a second and wanted to overtake them to confront, but decided not to.

At 00:23, we can see the college bus in the distance that cuts across lanes in a dangerous manner.

The clip from 00:37secs happened just today. There were 2 guys in the car under question here. I noticed erratic and rash driving for up to a minute earlier before he pulled this move on me. I have no idea what these folks gain by such stunts other than getting cursed by everyone else on the road.

Bad riding is more rampant than bad driving, it seems!

I listen to MS amma's songs during my morning commute to keep my mind and peace and these folks make it a point to disturb that. It was in Tamil only but not really cuss words. You can imagine something like this:
