Well, the context of my reply was different from the legality POV. hence that statement.

Having many friends with superbikes and ridden with them, I put forward a view that's shared amongst riders. These superbike owners are young ( I am a senior citizen anyway), they spend a couple of millions on their bike, they enjoy speed and given an opportunity, they speed up. That's what I meant.

Ofcourse this thread is about legal / illegal speeding and its the only issue that's on focus on this thread.

As such we cannot leave the interpretation of what a safe speed for a particular stretch of road at a particular instance is to our fellow countrymen. We know very well how disciplined, oblivious and selfish our fellow road users (and ourselves) are. 130 km/hr is not an unreasonable upper cap for our highways.
