Hyundai makes 6 airbags standard across all cars in India

Hyundai seems to be a great customer to work with!
Government made the 6 airbags rule voluntary at the last moment, but the OEMs have to work with their suppliers much in advance (6 months or so), so that they can prepare for tooling, capacity and supply constraints.
Hyundai, like other manufacturers must've committed to those volumes to their suppliers and glad to see they have gone ahead with the orders.
Now, the only chink in the armour is body shell strength, which Hyundai seems to be correcting as per the latest Verna crash test result.
