This is great for our car market. A segment which was supposedly about to die has revised itself full throttle. Thanks to Volkswagen, Skoda and Hyundai we have now three option which are fast, feature loaded and safe! City being City will always have it's set of byuers. Now its Maruti's turn to up the game.

A clear shot of the Kia K3 at ADAC's active safety facility has emerged on the internet.

Like the Verna in India, the K3 -- which shares its platform -- has the potential to become the group's first five star car in Latin America.



The K3's predecessor, the Kia Rio, has been blasted by Latin NCAP on multiple occasions and received no more than two stars.

The India-made Verna itself, however, is unlikely to share this honour as it is sold without ADAS in smaller countries like Pànama, which means Latin NCAP won't award the systems any points.
