Re: The 10 commandments of homicidal driving | By a KSRTC driver

Here is one such KSRTC driver tries to run me off a National Highway at night which doesn't have a shoulder space for me to move.

You could've slowed down to allow him to pass, as you do not have sufficient Crash Avoidance Space (CAS) on all sides in that situation.

Here is a hilarious appreciation tweet to KSRTC from one of the passengers !!
Here, KSRTC means Karnataka SRTC.

Yes. I should have slowed down. But I was worried about someone rear ending me because I had quite a few vehicles closely following me.
I was continuously honking to let the driver know that I don't have enough space to move.

If another bus comes from the opposite side, this KSRTC bus wont hesitate to swerve left, which puts you in a risky situation.

Honestly the people behind you would've been able to see what the KSRTC was doing and you could just have slowed down gradually without any problem. No matter how much you honk these people won't give a crap.

I wonder if there is a cultural thing involved?

I find Kerala and AP/TS drivers to be the most aggressive in the South.
