Curiously enough, there has been no evidence yet of a new frontal impact, something Kia would certainly require for an improved rating.
Is it just me or does it appear to have different new airbags that extend further down?
Also visible in the video is a badly concealed silver/white Fiat Pulse, a small SUV from Brazil that will probably be rated by Latin NCAP in November.

Kia Carens now i-Size approved?
Along with the addition of a three-point belt to the centre seat earlier this year, the rear outboard seats of the Kia Carens now appear to be i-Size compatible after Global NCAP complained of poor ISOFIX labelling in the old car. This could also help Kia nominate better child restraints and position the three year-old rearward facing like in the Hyundai Verna, also using a foot-prop instead of the Top Tether which caused a backrest failure in the first test.
