Re: 2019 Global NCAP crash tests - Ertiga, WagonR, Santro & Redigo India is the lifeline market for Suzuki and yet, they give us such stepmotherly treatment? They make a conscious effort to ensure that the Indian car is less safe than the same model sold in any other market. This really goes to show that Maruti just cares about minting money. They could have easily given us cars that were at least structurally as sound as the international models, but this would have taken a little bit from their profits. Really goes to show that the ethics of the company have gone down the drain.
Their entire range uses similar platforms, the whole range is being run by a set of 3-4 engines, and not to mention the infamous part sharing, where all cars, from the celerio to the S-cross, all use the same switches and knobs. This already gets them fat profits. But they go a step further and weaken the chassis of the cars, just to squeeze a little bit more profit. Truely disgusting to say the least.
