I also got my update done on 22nd April 2016.
As per other members it was an extremely quick in and out kind of service.
(Although with me staying in Andheri East and the workshop in Manpada, Thane it was slightly more than that for me. But, all the same it was an opportunity to drive the car and stretch its legs out a bit) )
Mine was the 1st appointment of the day. The service was quick and prompt. It was a scheduled appointment.
The reason I have quoted is that the service personnel hasn't given me any job card or receipt of any kind inspite of me insisting.
Should I be worried ?
Well, probably they were too lazy to generate a job card.

I use Ford Owners app on my mobile and it showed that my car was due for that update( Ford Field Service Action).

Two days after the s/w update, that notification is no longer there in the app, meaning the update has been notified to Ford and updated on their system.

The Figo/Aspire come with Airbags as standard across the range. ABS is present only in the top 2 variants.

That doesn't look like a frontal impact to me.

Looks more like a roll-over.

In cases like this the airbag will not (and should not) deploy.

An airbag deploying in the wrong situation can cause serious injuries or even death.

Its a rollover. Notice that not even the radiator cross member is damaged. The front is damaged as a part of consequential impact and not the primary impact. Hence, there is no necessity for airbag deployment.

True, well the owner claimed that his car was a part of the recall & his video mentioned that the airbag did not deploy. Also the recall i.e. Field Service Action 16S20 mentions clearly 'The error which could prevent airbags from deploying in certain collisions'

Hence i posted in this thread

Regarding whether the airbag should have deployed or not is a matter of debate as the cause of the accident is unknown to me.
