I think it's as safe as a motorcycle cruising at such speeds in our roads. In the event of road debris, jaywalkers, dogs running, the Nano is definitely safer and at the same time in more serious accidents, there's more luck in the motorcycle as it pushes the rider off the vehicle whereas in the Nano, one will be stuck/
squeezed/crushed by the metal box
