I saw this too,but the front of the truck seemed undamaged.Wonder how it managed this divider climb. There were two towing trucks trying to clear it off the road when I passed it.

Accident in the papers today. Here is the link-

And the tow is another accident waiting to happen. The rope is ridiculously short, and are those guys so cheap that they can't use anything better than a worn, knotted piece? :Frustrati

I recall seeing the same pic in this very thread a few months ago. Also someone had clarified that the Dzire was parked with no occupants inside when this happened.

It's a 2009 car. The front number plate would have come off showing the temp reg. sticker.

Really bad crash. Maybe the fatality would have been prevented if they were belted up. From the pics on the DC site, looks like at least the driver wasn't wearing the seat belt.

I pass thru this road every weekend and have seen numerous misses / accidents, just after Airport the stretch of 1.5 kms over narrow rail over bridge is bad and still people do not have the patience to drive slowly. People try to overtake each other inspite of numerous lorries / buses ahead . IMO this could be result of aggressive overtaking by the scorpio .

That sets the new benchmark for the pothole, driver must be real fortunate the load didn't crush the cabin.

The A/B pillars seem ripped off by the force. Seat belts cant make any difference here , common sense would though.

Saw another accident being reported by manoramaonline @ kerala. 8 people in an autorickshaw were killed in this unfortunate accident when a speeding bus rammed the auto.

Public vent their anger by setting the bus on fire ! While over speeding private buses aren't a new phenomenon in Kerala, overloaded small vehicles arent' saints either. Reminds of the swift accident reported in this thread recently.

May the souls R I P.
