Though it may be due to high speed impact I am bit suprised to see the engine caved inside passenger cabinet. Same way with steering which looks like touching the roof.

A few minutes back, this MSRTC bus rammed the divider at full clip, on Karve road, in front of my house. Most probably caused by a tire burst.

Thanks for the info. Good that the person was only injured and not killed. What happens is that people try and take a quick shortcut at this junction to reach the 2 petrol pumps instead of taking a u-turn at Nal stop or Dashabhuja mandir. In that mad rush to save a few minutes of the time, this is what happens. :deadhorse So the accident wasn't because of the flat tyre, it was because of the mistake of the 2 wheeler rider. Guess he wasn't wearing a helmet either, which caused those head injuries :Frustrati

Looks like this was due to tyre burst.

Sachin Gowda, employed with a soft drink giant, said: "I was on my way home from work on my bike. The tanker truck was in front of me. I heard a tyre on the left of the vehicle go flat, causing a loud noise. The driver lost control and the vehicle crashed into the flyover parapet wall and plunged below. After hitting the road below, the truck rolled over to the right. A heap of dust billowed out of the truck."

Yes you are right, it was not the because of the flat tyre, but the biker was riding on the wrong side of the road to save those precious few minutes. The ST bus driver tried his best to divert the bus, however the biker was thrown away & the bike was caught under the rear wheels of the bus. Picture below courtesy Pune Mirror.

The driver would probably have made it with just an injury if he wasn't on a flyover when it happened.

Looks really nasty. Having to be crushed by a few tonnes of truck that too after diving 40 feet for almost no fault of the driver. They usually get coerced into driving overloaded and poorly maintained HCV's.

Saw two accidents today:-
1. Near forum mall hosur road, Indica parked next to the divider. Its left tyre seemed to have burst as they were trying to jack up the car with bricks.

2. Saw a very badly damaged blue Honda civic right opposite, Le meridien next to golf course, while coming from Rajbhavan road.
The driver side window assembly was fallen on the road next to divider. Traffic police then took the vehicle to the left side of the road. The A pillar seemed badly damaged and the windshield had crushed completely iirc. The scene was really bad.
I hope there weren't any casualties.

There was an accident near Kundalahalli on the 5th morning bang in front of Mayura Sagar hotel involving a tractor and a Chevrolet Beat, the tractor ferrying water was taking a "U" turn in the median in front of Mayura Sagar, a beat coming from Gudi circle towards Marthahalli rammed the tractor so hard ,the tractor broke into 2 pieces, unfortunately the tractor driver a 60 year old man did not make it, the car driver was admitted in the hospital.

While the incident is surely saddening, I ve always wondered - is it legal for tractors to be on public roads?

Swift banged into a parked lorry. Overspeeding, lack of concentration... List goes on. Two dead. Two are in hospital fighting for survival

It was a one-month old Ertiga. May his soul rest in peace. :(

This is one scary accident I have seen in recent times!

RIP the driver! Hope his wife and kids are recovered.

Just wondering the way engine bay has crushed and right door has been completely ripped off.

Saw this pic on Facebook. No details but this is bad.
