From Rejeen's crash, isn't it true that all commercial vehicles ( busses and trucks ) are very high, I mean they should be low enough to atleast let the crumple zone of cars get activiated. No development here.

@rejeen:
Learning from past mistakes is the best thing to do.

In rejeen's case the fact that the truck was higher might have saved him! If that truck bumper bore brunt of the impact the B pillar would hsve caved in.

Read through the entire post. It might be surprising as to how many people will associate and recognise themselves with the experience you jotted down.

We do happen to read stories of people bleeding to death with almost everyone offering a silent prayer (reported as - turning a blind eye) to the victims for their autosurvival. What we dont get to read is what actually brought things to such a point of indifference (to be precise - fear), which is when posts like yours actually show an indicator.

Whats more interesting is that, early on, in our childhood we are taught to help and be compassionate etc. But as the years go on, the same sources ask us to be extra careful while doing so. You can't hold anything against them, their experience tells them that the easiest "bakra" is found. Witnesses can be bought easily. Everyone wants to take a piece of the pie. But why is it always so easy for the wrong doers?

A S320 CDI spotted at Sundaram Motors, Merc's Blore dealer a while ago. I was told that the driver was very well drunk & was also over speeding.

what would be the estimate to fix it?
what happens o the engine in such collisions?does it funcion well afer such an impact?

My job takes me to Faridabad everyday and theres hardly been a day where I have not seen at least 1 accident on my way from delhi-faridabad-gurgaon!!

Some samples that I managed to click, and these are the "small" accidents among the ones I have seen!:Shockked:

The 1st accident pic seemed like the guy was trying that move from "Die Hard 4" where Bruce Willis takes out a helo with a car!! See, the bad influence of movies!!lol:

The last pic is of my ex-car, met with a fatal accident on the notoriously dangerous faridabad-gurgaon road.

the Palio Accident seems to be very bad !.Did any one survive

@markiv - how did the palio accident occur?

OOPS!! the S320 looks bad. Who would hurt such an expensive car?? I mean so bad!

Getz 1.3 Accident

This happened early in the morning around 4.30 AM near DELL office on the Intermediate Koramangala - Airport road on 8 Oct. There were 5 occupants in the Getz. The Getz was travelling at pretty high speed, came down the Airport Road flyover and overtook a vehicle from the left while taking the right curve near the DELL office and rammed into a stationary Tata Sumo..The Sumo in turn rammed into a stationary Tata Indica..

Due to the impact the fuel tank on the Sumo was ripped and Diesel was spilt all over the road.

But looks like battery is still live and connected as side indicator is glowing
Reduce to scrap

Passenger shell of the Getz looks to be intact.

This one looks very bad! When you say 'fatal', was there any death or serious injury involved? What happened?

I believe we have these picture already posted. What I recollect reading was that there were 3 occupants, 2 guys and a lady, and the driver, a guy, was drunk. His lack of control caused this fiasco!
