I saw huge pile of cars between Krishnagiri and Dharampuri on 24th of December while going to Kaniyakumari from Bangalore. Four cars and a truck were involved. Truck was toppled and 2 of 4 cars were in miserable state. Do not know about causalities.

Due to this accident there was huge pile up of traffic on road and it took us 45 mins to pass. There were two ambulances standing.

Any news on this accident? I saw three cars were Bangalore registered. Fourth ones registration plate I couldn't able to read.

I would like to know also. I took couple of the injured persons to nearby Krishnagiri hospital. The driver had his head injured and was bleeding. The owner came with me and he was fine. His wife (she was taken by a black Linea ahead of us), who was sitting behind the driver had her leg fractured.
Would like to know how they have fared.

Good job Thalavoy!clap:

Nice gesture and good you helped the injured.

Many people shy away thinking that they may fall into any kind of police case for getting an injured to the hospital, etc.:Frustrati

Any news on the people injured and their condition and whether any causalities on spot?

great job.

Appreciate you humane gesture, when most others would have taken out their phones and clicked pics. A helping hand is far better than many praying lips .

A friend of mine in Mangalore said that he witnessed an accident on new year's eve. At around 11.30 PM on December 31st, thi guy was on his way home on his Activa on NH 66. He saw 2 guys on a bike riding on the wrong side on the flyover at Kottara Chowki, waving at the truckers and wishing them happy new year and all. Then they came down the flyover uncontrollably and hit the divider as if they had not seen it. The pillion rider managed to jump off but the rider and the bike were airborne for a few seconds and then the rider was motionless. My friend was about to go to help, but saw autorickshaw drivers and so did not go closer.

Good job pal! Just saw it in our local newspapers that totally 12 vehicles were involved in that chain reaction kinda accident. The main reason behind the accident FOG. Except for the van driver who died after he hit a parked lorry from behind who triggered the chain reaction all others involved in the accident were recovering.
