ahmedabad sure has parking issues. and specially near the airport area where people dont want to spend 60 rs on airport parking. Looks like this guy went a little over board

I got this pic from a friend who snapped this a few months ago.

Whoa!! What was the driver thinking?? Seems like he approached the roundabout too fast and then could not steer. .

There's someone who carries a similar "friend" with him all the time. He drives a green bug-like car which has latches on the doors... Hope you're not like him on the roads
PS: No offence meant to either of you

lol: Heh Heh.

none taken, but you kinda lost me there! :D

SUS Road, Pashan Pune, Date: 19 Dec 2010 approx 5:30PM

This fallen bike rider (wrong side) was suddenly appeared before biker near yellow tempo. Direction of traffic is from left to right. To avoid taking U turn, these people take wrong side of 4 lane road. This time biker was with kid at front and lady as pillion rider. Bike fallen with handle broken, nothing happened to kid/riders. Fortunately biker(correct side) at left was followed by White SUV which could brake in time. Otherwise this wrong side guy could been collided with that SUV.

Same thing is true here for wrong side 4 wheelers mostly Indica with yellow number plate, Omni vans and some educated(literate) stupids with there cars.

:OT
I guess the Zen driver was late for his flight and tried to hop on to it directly from the road itself.

:OT

Hey Ironhawk,
Visualize a brown teddy, a green original by Issigonis and a wide eyed soul in a tweed suit.

This is a big problem with the expanded and smoothened Sus road. I have once seen a lady on a two wheeler taking a tumble along with her kid, as she suddenly swerved to join the "correct" side of the road. This was near the road which leads to Sutarwadi.

It happened just as I thought. There is this huge hump that has been added to the infosys drive, phase 2 hinjewadi. This was added after putting up a sign a month prior.

However, this HAD to happen. I was just behind this two wheeler who was a bit too fast for the hump and a bit too slow for me, I waited for him to clear as there was a hump ahead, I was expecting him to brake any moment for the hump, but he did not.

I uttered " he is going to crash down". Just as I completed my word, he was down on the road, luckily he was wearing a helmet and was not too fast, unfortunately there was a lady behind him and she, though not injured critically, had huge abrasions on her face. I stopped the car so as to divert the traffic, made sure they are ok and drove off. The wise guy apparently did not see the "new hump". Really felt sorry for the girl!!

^^ Well thanks for the warning- will keep my eyes open (wider!)

clap: Well done! Do they have a marker or a set of stripes to indicate a hump there ?

they do, unfortunately they are not reflective and the road is not always well lit. They should have ideally put those small plastic reflectors. The guy could have saved himself if he were not to brake inappropriately, he applied brakes just as he landed skidding the small tires of his scooterette!!

This is what happened to my parked car.!

the scratches seem to go from right to left (i think there was multiple impact) and the impact is at a bumper height; obviously cannot be a bike. i'm guessing someone didn't know their turning radius and clipped your car or reversed into it. i can imagine how you feel mate. smallest scratch on my rides gets my blood boiling!

This accident involved two Auto's, one being a goods carrier (the culprit) and a passenger auto. Eye witness say, both these vehicles were speeding and collided head on. The impact left the goods carrier colliding with my ride which was unfortunately parked beside the collision point.

As a result of this, the passenger Auto had a broken windshield and minor dents and scratches. The passenger inside the Auto got hurt too with minor cuts.

Ape Auto seems to be a major problem for all commuters and public. They are very rash and dont even bother the pedestrians and other vehicles.
