Here's a couple more from the expressway toll booth at Talegaon in the direction of Bombay. A Cielo, Tavera and Zen. I am sure that the Zen accident involved serious fatalities. Drive safe guys.

The Ford Fiesta was snapped on a Sunday morning.

I am wondering how can a sedan get banged up so bad that it turns up the way that fiesta has. That is one impact. I seriously hope there was nobody in the car at the time of impact.

I'm curious about this too. Normally, frontal impacts show that sort of damage because the car moves in that direction. A rear end impact would only deform the car upto a point because the car would simply be pushed forward after that. Unless it was dropped off a bridge onto its boot, I'm stumped...

^^ i see a curvy road on the first picture of that fiesta , i think the driver lost control after braking and the car just turned and hit that brick wall, or something heavy hit from the back at high speed when the car was stationary.

Good point, wildon. He may have spun the car at high speed and slammed backwards into a wall. God knows what kind of manouver he tried to get a car to spin at those speeds.

Accepted. But,still, why is the rear bumper almost intact even after such a humongous impact?

Exactly my thoughts! However, there's always a possibility that rear bumper got hooked on to something and was sheared off the body just before the impact.
Looking at whatever remains of the car - it seems probably car spun, hit the brick/concrete structure sideways, caused it to collapse and in turn it fell on the boot, crushed it completely and made the passenger cave in because of the impact.. Hope there were no occupants on rear seat!

Seems the lamps too fell of the lamp post because of the impact (though there are no visible signs of impact on the post)

Another possiblity could be a heavy vehicle rear ended the car and boxed the boot straight in, the bumper being at a lower level got spared. Looks horrific.

The Fiesta is a result of the drivers own creation and no one else but the Fiesta was involved in the accident. As said, this was spotted on a Sunday morning and the accident had happened on a Saturday night. The driver lost control of the car on a fast sweeping curve and spun out only to bang into the wall that you see destroyed in the second picture tail first. Do notice the thickness of the wall that has been completely destroyed and then look at the Fiesta and guess the approximate speeds at which this must have happened.

That red zen looks scary, i believe even in the fiesta hatch back there could be some serious injuries.
