What news. We've not even a dozen Figos on the road and we already have the instance of a crash. BTW-Was it green in colour?

Just hilarious. I wonder who pays up for such a crashed test drive vehicle?
The customer or insurance or the company??

My bro-in-law, who works for Samsung was driving to Jalandhar in his Esteem with 3 colleagues, to attend the wedding of another colleage. At Shahbad, near Ambala, a Haryana roadways bus jumped the divider and collided with his car. The guy on the passenger seat and the one just behind him perished on the spot. While b-i-l and the one behind driver seat had a few fractures. They were operated upon yesternight in Apollo hospital and are now alright.

The car is at Shahbad police station; anybody knows the process to get the car released in such cases. Incidentally the original papers were also in the car and were stolen by locals along with his laptop, iPod and mobile. So will we be able to get the car released with original papers?

We will be trying for total loss. But even if the insurance company doesn't agree for it, we'll dispose it off. Driving a car, which witnessed 2 friends' death won't easy.

Here is a link from a local paper - Ravindra from Gurgaon is my b-i-l -

@ntomer,
very sorry to hear about your brother in law and his colleagues. From the news report it just seems like destiny.

May the departed souls rest in peace and wish your brother in law and the other gentleman a speedy and complete recovery.

Oh my God. Very sorry about the whole thing Nitin. Wish your brother-in-law and his friend a speedy recovery.

May the departed rest in peace.

It is times like this when you wonder whether all the safe driving you pursue is gonna save you when things come to such an extent.

Very sorry about your BIL. Really horrible inhuman beings those who stole all the items when people were fighting for their lives .

Oh my god! this is sad news. I'm glad that your BIL and colleague are alright now. Best wishes to them to recover from their injuries and from the news of their colleagues death.

I'm not sure but notarised duplicate papers and NOC's from RTO and Insurance company might be enough to prove ownership of the vehicle.

Clicked this 2 days ago when I went to Mars Service Station for some small niggle in my car. Not sure exactly what caused it. But it has been there for quite a while I guess as it has collected lots of dirt.

Opp Christ college. A truck and a Wagon R decided to get cozy.
The traffic was jammed upto the flyover behind. The buggers were calling some numbers amidst the action right in the middle of the raod.
