Seen this 800 in my area. Dont know who's is this.

In Goa, opposite Kala Academy, Panaji.

That pole is bang inbetween the road. The street has good lighting but someone always manages to do this.

No one was injured in the crash. Overtaking manuver gone wrong.

An Auto carrying eggs slammed into footpath

Mark Twain rightly said
“I owe a friend a dozen chickens, and I believe it will be cheaper to send eggs instead, and let them develop on the road.”:uncontrol

Oh *(&%^*%! Hate to see such precious commodities going waste!

And how did that truck manage to get onto the median? Maruti Suzuki..

Holy **** hope that truck was not loaded. How will they get it out from there.. won\'t they have to unload all the cars first ? Hope Maruti is not going get the damaged cars repaired and sell them as new.. have heard they do that with cars damaged during transportation.

Hi,
One of our friends met a fatal accident last night while he was returning home. He was a very good friend of mine and was a real asset to our Group / company.
I dont have much of the information yet; however it looks like he kept driving in the wrong side of the road (yelahanka - devanhalli highway) and missed the diversion due to no road sign and muddy road leading to the correct side of the road. He head-on with a truck; as per what I heard, the entire engine (Tata-Indica) pushed to the passenger compartment and was almost stuck with the seats.

I hope, we soon will have these road conditions improved in and around Bangalore to prevent such unfortunate accidents. He left his wife and a 1.5 years daughter behiend him. His loss will deeply felt by us and praying god to provide enough strength to his family in this distressed time.

What a loss ketan , i pray to almighy may his soul rest in peace and God , please take care of his family , especially the daughter who would not be able to tell others that what his father looked like

Man that is a very nasty accident.

Any info on how it happened and was this in delhi??

ji maalik, axe-press-way, the part where you take the underpass for iffco chowk. The guy there is the cleaner who was merely snoring and didn't seem hurt in anyway.

ABS would have been the answer - Makes the extra Rs 50000 look like a bargain - one car and one life saved. Shame that auto companies do not fit this as standard,

agree: I have witnessed may friends suffering because of trying to save a dog. I do not compromise human life for a dogs safety. I just move on.

I would go for ABS if its available for a car. Its shame that ABS/ Airbags are not standard in India.

Saket, MG road, couple of nights back, a maruti car that prolly was coming wrong side on a 6 lane road!! FWIW, that is engine oil, not blood by the tyre.

Most of the cars I have seen on divider seem to be small Marutis, whats the deal :). The other day I saw Omni and 800 folks trying to get across over a small divider near Mehadipatnam in Hyd. Saw one nicely sitting on divider in Gunfoundry some time ago.
