Agree with that. I've actually fwded this thread to all friends and had it on my social networking accounts for quite a while.

A night-out last night showed us how people speed at 3 am. At 5 in the morning, I saw a bike collide with a bus.

hope no major injuries were sustained by said biker.

Infact we should have this telecast on TV channels to increase the awareness.

Sometimes I feel we as t-bhpians are not doing enough to further safe driving. Please, I request everyone to spread awareness and at the risk of being labeled as sissies, still continue to propound safe driving.

couldn't agree with you more bro. there are maniacs out there but people still don't want to take safety seriously. it is usually scorned up on until it actually happens to them. sad but true.
that video in the previous page sent shivers down my spine. thanks for sharing. i'm gonna share that video with everyone i know!
drive safe!
@csatheesh, One of the best collection of videos we could ever get I think and thanks for posting the same in "Accidents" section and this really send a shock wave through your system and you will now think before putting your foot on the accelerator pedal
Saw this wrecked zen lying at the local service station, had been there to rectify a lower arm problem in my car..
As per the manager, the driver rammed in to a divider at high speed, no fatalities since he was alone and most damage appears to be on the left side of the vehicle... Its a total loss and has to be scrapped.

No, i checked with the service station manager, he said the car you are talking about is still lying in the yelahanka police station backyard and incidentally he has been informed to claim the insurance and scrap the car...
If this is post you are taking about (
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...ml#post1660419), the difference is clear, notice the alloys...
Guys have a look at this video from here

OMG!! That Zen has been reduced to junk and really lucky that guy survived.
Just saw this while coming back from office.:Shockked:
Story is that to save a biker & swift this car hit the post & turned turtle. Crowd help to bring it back on its feet.
This happened on Delhi - Gurgaon Expressway On Raddisson Flyover.
No fatalities & serious injuries thankfully. Only the driver had a ghastly wound on hand & was sent to the hospital immediately. 3 people onboard in all. Dont know if Belts were on (it seems they were as there was no injuries to other 2)
PS : Bikers are not allowed on Delhi - Gurgaon Expressway flyovers:Frustrati
But they are involved in most accidents there.

Torqy, I don't have words to describe what I feel after watching this video. I've imprinted them in my heart; will try to recall this video everytime before I ride/drive. It really is an eye opener. Thanks for sharing. |
Add me to this list. +1.
A few meters inching forward by the EM or JCB would have resulted in serious impact at that speed (80kmph) as he had no reaction time. I seriously doubt whether he could have even taken his foot to the B pedal. Even riding/avoiding through the right lane is not possible as you could see a VAN there occupying the right lane.
If the JCB inched forward, instant reaction would be to move into the right lane along with braking (if could react quickly) which case he could have collided with the van. This is the high risk involved in single lane roads as you are sometimes at the mercy of other drivers (poor)
Saw a white swift opposite to IBP bunk near silkboad signal. It looked like it rolled 2-3 time before coming to a halt. My guess is that the vehicle may have gone over the speed breaker at a high speeds (was few yards before the place the car came to a halt.)
Couldnt stop for pics during the rush hour. more info, Anyone ?
on my way to kerala:
I am really shocked. How did the read end of that car get under the lorry. I thought only during the frontal crashes this happens, but now after seeing this I think the A,B,C pillars have to be designed from rear side also.
