I think this red car kissed the front car while somone kissed this red car from back. this might have happened due to tailgating

That's undoubtedly a Corolla. Probably a Corolla Altis! No way is it a Dzire or a Manza!

Trying to imagine how this happened. Is that the rear bumper in the rear windshield?

The car was on the median. The direction in which I was going - down from the bridge, the location is just exiting from the roundabout and there is no-way any car(s) could speed to have caused this kind of damage. My guess wasit happened on the othr side, approaching the round-about, before the speed-limiter and it turned 180 degrees to climb on the median.

Yes, It is the rear-bumper - looked like someone just shoved it in. There were nobody near the car, no tow-truck, no police, just a few curious on-lookers, when I passed.

After closer look and the suggestions, I too tend to believe it is a Corolla Altis. The Rear right decal seems to be ALTIS, when I zoom the photo.

And surprisingly, no newspaper covered this incident.!

For more idea of the location take a look at this picture.
The entire roundabout is elevated and approaches and exits are sloping.
All those Red marks you see are speed limiters, metallic rumbles, and noway to speed over those.

WOW first time I am seeing speed breakers on roundabout . The round about itself is there to reduce the speed and provide a safe passage

Yes,You are right my friend the roundabout is itself there to slow the speed down. However not anymore. There was this accident which completely shook me over an year in chandigarh in which there like bunch of guys (around 5) ,2-3 of them were nri's hailing from canada. They had this honda city loaded with all the jazz like NOS and stuff. So they were intoxicated one day and that was the time when there was big hype amongst that movie tokyo drift so they tried there car out in sand gravel drifting at a certain area(Source Newspaper) and they were quite happy with that.Dont know what came in their mind they thought to drive up on the road with NOS on and take a drift at a roundabout and the car will just turn 360 deg like in the movie. They did tried it,what speed were they on is self explanatory when i talk about NOS.They smashed straight O to the roundabout.I think 4 died on the spot. One of them was hospitalised in a critical state. Not on the top of my head that he survived or not since it was out of the news the following day.
The bad thing is they were all 20-25 in age.

Welcome - Times Of India ePaper

I heard from the local news paper that the occupants were drunken & both the cars had booze in them at the event of the accident. Am sure the 18 yr old's in the swift did not go for just ice cream at the airport. There must be other points which are not disclosed.

Either way 2 innocent persons lost the lives because of the idiots behind wheels. Sad thing for a new year beginning!

There are many chances that the car might be hit by vehicle may be heavy vehicle from behind and since it's a slope the heavy vehicle might have lost it's grip in a slow speed sudden brakes from the car.As you know PADI is a place where many heavy vehicles will move.
more over i would notice some dents in the roof
