good question there. Experts can you define the word "Accident", should this be termed as a accident. This looks more like an over enthusiastic truckie trying out a wheelie.

I think this lorry accident (wheelie) had been posted earlier in a different angle.
Did somebody from chennai palikaranai noticed an Santro got mashed in front near the newly opened bridge?
I will try to take pics on my way to home.

Sudan today afternoon on my way to office I did see the santro, due to traffic I was not able to park my car to take a snap. Looking at the rusting of the scratches and the way the vehicle was moved to the road side, it seems to be more than a day old. Any idea on casualities. seems like the driver side was completely crushed in the impact.

My 2 cents.

The lorry doing a wheelie could be considered as an accident as it was unplanned for and has definitely caused some damage. Please see definition of accident from dictionary.com

But that vehicle seems to take it well. He could have unloaded a few bales and continued with his 'flight'!

My friend was driving his esteem at a nice speed, and this uncle in a santro talking on the phone decides to brake in the middle if the road without any warning, the santro was on a handbrake and spun 3 times.

This esteem will cost 50K ,major damage to the strut tower , some major damage to the front part of the chassis, even the dashboard has to be replaced. Accidents in India | Pics & Videos-24102009128.jpg

Sorry but its still your friend's fault for rear ending the Santro. Its the responsibility of the driver behind to maintain enough distance between the car ahead and himself.

Doesnt matter, the santro person did not have complete documents and was running on an expired license, so he had to pay 40K. plus my friend had insurance.

Most likely the truck was overloaded, carrying steel bars or steel strip rolls, and there was a weight shift in the hilly terrain - seen a few of these truck wheelies earlier.

I wonder what happened?
I think that is of a electrical short-circuit at the headlamp unit, as we can see the burnt damage around the affected area.
