This is a total loss accident. Wonder why the air bags did not open for such a major impact. May be the thresh hold is set a point higher than the last few Mahindras seen in TBhp in 2024.

I don't think that's correct. The insurance company has to pay first and later on, after they prove the policy holder breached the policy conditions, they recover the amount from the holder.
