Very similar to the accident that a BHPian caught on dashcam.

That is just straight up murder. No two ways about it. There was a blind 0 IQ Einstein on a scooter who just randomly joined onto the road without looking and maybe the scooter involved in the accident was trying to avoid him and hence slightly started swerving to the right, but could the KSRTC driver wait a couple of seconds for the situation to go back to normal? Ofcourse not. He had to save those precious 0.01 seconds. They're just as bad as private bus drivers in Kerala. I am 100% sure a lot of these private and govt bus drivers would be behind bars for years if they were in some Western countries or somewhere in the developed part of the Middle East.

Overenthusiastic Kerala MVD can probably earn twice or thrice the money they fleece from private car drivers through mindless fines if they actively focused on buses instead.

YouTuber crashes his car, he is thankfully safe:

Looks horrendous. If the front of the Fortuner is damaged so bad, I wonder what happened to the other object this car collided with. Wish it was a pole or a barrier or some non-life object. Or a Large Truck. Not a tree, even trees have life.

Can't imagine what will the state of the other car would be.

He's applying filters on accident pics also. Surely, the Youtuber will come up with a video on how met with the accident etc and increase traffic. :Frustrati

Sometimes, I used to wonder, why new cars which still carry the blue ribbon, meet with an accident and video pops up on Youtube the next day.

When Punch was launched, on day 1, one Youtuber went and hit the car to an electric pole and next day, there is a video on his channel - " Punch Pathaka".

Few days ago, we have seen another post on the forum, about abusing XUV700 ADAS features.

Just for instant fame these Youtubers are doing dangerous stunts and uploading on Youtube; and many can think, that's the way to drive and they do same mistakes, when they drive.

We are a rank obsesses nation, and we can see how the educational institutions advertise rankings whenever exams like NEET,JEE results are announced.

GNCAP ratings are much welcome in India, as we have the highest percentage of untrained road users.

However, the ratings shouldn't give a false sense of security and make people do things, which even GNCAP itself won't test.

A safe car with a trained driver is the ideal combination.

Unsurprisingly, this is his 2nd accident with the same car just a few weeks apart!!

Absolutely!

Very likely, the car has rear-ended a truck at decent speeds, he must've had his phone in his hand while driving and we can see the outcome! Or he was sleepy after his touring across states, and he dozed off at the wheel.

You tubers have created a mess on the road by trying to create content. Have seen a similar video yesterday where a youtuber was testing the brakes of an XUV700, on the road, behind a truck!
Searched it back from my library to share it here.

I don't have words for these you tubers. Somebody teach them some sense. If a youtuber who creates similar videos is seeing this, please don't endanger others on the road.

One hand car driver, whose fortuner is totalled, please buy some good gear, go pro and fixed cameras. You are endangering others for your content.

I don't understand why the media points out as "KSRTC bus drivers carelessness" rather than a gruesome act of roadrage or rash driving. No news about the action taken against the bus driver.

One question pops up in my mind after reading so many stories is Kerala bus drivers.
Don't people trash those guys like just after the accident? Or do they just drive along?
Reason I'm asking, in most other places, chances are the person gets beaten to within an inch of his life. While this is definitely not the right thing to do (& innocents also would get trapped often), perhaps that does being some fear & prods them to drive safer
Or maybe just wishful thinking.

One reason - The drivers are either goons or the bus owners are politicians or from the police.

There's been few incidents where people have manhandled the bus drivers but they still continue to drive like maniacs.

Another picture of the crash from Vikas Dayal's Instagram:

Accidents in India | Pics & Videos-screenshot_20220724082409.png

1) Lush green median
2) Bonnet caved in from the centre (point of impact) and flung upwards
3) No damage to the cross member
4) Tyre marks tell he did drop some speed before impact but still ended up with so much damage

I am almost certain this is a cattle hit. And a very bad one at that.

Is that blood on the road or ATF Oil?!

May also be coolant or Power steering oil, but not blood for sure.

That’s the pink coolant. Toyota use their proprietary long life coolant which has a pink shade.

I am not exaggerating here, for a minute unknowingly tears started to flow from my eyes. Even my worst enemy shouldn't lose their beloved one like this. I really pray for his family.

I couldn't get over the video of child's death, whatever we say it's a big loss to his family. The harsh reality is this can happen to anyone when you have a bad day. That's where posts like these in this forum will wake you up. I thank Team BHP for waking me up, without a shame I need to admit I was riding my kid without a helmet all this while thinking I ride safe and it's only within my locality i ride my Jupiter, so not required!! But the truth is, idiots are everywhere, even if you ride safe but you are at equal risk of an unsafe rider.

So I got a helmet for my kid today and I will ensure even if it's my regular 1 or 2 km trip with my daughter, she wears it. I thank once again this wonderful forum for making me realize my mistakes :thumbs up

Drive safe dears, there are few thing in this world you can't regret :)

Kudos to you and your daughter. One suggestion: check the videos on YT about how different helmets perform in an event.

While something is better than nothing, it's always risky when riding.

The front passenger was not wearing seat belt and his/her head has banged very hard against the windshield cracking it like that. Hope the occupant is ok.
