^^ The laws of physics toppled that car.

It's such a common sight to see people drive at breakneck speeds on our highways in their crossovers/SUVs/tall vehicles with high center of gravity. Each one of those instances is a disaster waiting to happen sooner or later.

It's just plain ignorance that drives this behavior. Most people are simply not aware of safe practices and vehicle limitations. There has to be a systemic change to bring in more safety awareness.

This one's easy: he clipped the corner. That was the flick that turned the car. That gave the centrifigal force all the help and needed to launch the car.

Very silly.

Towards the end of this video, I see a father along with his son, who parks his motorcycle and comes near(red shirt) to see if the victims are safe and probably to render some help.

A few seconds after the hit happens, you can see a truck ambling along driving in the ‘wrong side’. If he was there a few seconds earlier, this would have been fatal.

How on earth he got his license, this person shouldn't be riding a cycle forget about the car. What's more worse is, as a matter of fact your car is not safe even if it is parked inside :Frustrati

And the first reaction of the bike that ran into him was to start beating him?

The youth was stupid, it was his fault clearly but what other guys did was criminal. Youth should be booked under MVA and other guys under IPC.

It is so satisfying to see when karma hit the idiots then and there. They can thank God as one wrong move could have led to someone falling in the water. Look at the fear on his face when he said his leg is not functional.

Accident caught on CCTV in Casa Major Road Egmore. Happens an hour back.

A drunken driver in a speeding C Class bangs an Auto then collided head on with a Tata Nano. Luckily the Pax on Nano walked out unscathed. The driver was stuck inside injuried.

Any perceived threat to life triggers the animal instinct in us to act. The only thing that restrains it is the respect/belief in the rule of law and that the violator will be punished eventually.

If it is in our culture to derive pride in respecting the law rather than deriving a sense of power by breaking them and not facing the consequences, there wouldn't be any mob justice happening all over the country.

Scary accident. I can see a boy riding a cycle pass by just few seconds before the Nano, it would have been fatal if the idiot in the C class had hit the cyclist.

I am totally against mob justice too but lately I don't know which side to pick. These so called biker gangs / school boys / you tubers etc are always in a pack. Even if there is slight nudge or even a close call (due to their own mistake) with so called gang the entire gang will intimidate the hell out of you. They will not stop till you truly believe that they can kill you.

The youth's don't fear the law and the law is toothless so even if the other guys care charged with IPC nothing will happen but at least the youth learned his lesson which should have been given by parents in the first place.

While all that the boy had been doing before, at the moment of impact, he was doing what every biker in the country does, making a quick u-turn. That bullet(is it?), was much too fast, and the movements of the pillion way too purposeful, to be just an accident. I think these must have been local goons called up by the people who were put in danger by the stunts. They crashed into him purposely, and delivered a beatdown. So MV Act, and IPC, both should be on the goons

Hope the C-Class driver gets their license canceled and sees some jail time.

The bar is at the correct height as per Indian standards. The axis of the wheel is at approx 500mm from the ground and that's the height of the lower end of the bar.

Most cars have the longitudinal members/bumpers at that height so it will engage the bumper which has the crumple zone.

OT
Interesting turn of events from the C-class-Nano accident. Police found elephant tusks and deer antlers in the damaged Nano.
