A black Safari with its front smashed , near HSR BDA junction signal , it must have happened today morning .

Saw this accident on the way to Araku from Vizag.

The driver was trying to negotiate a steep curve at high speeds and ended up going off the road into the culvert. All the occupants including the driver had multiple and serious injuries but survived this accident.
Excuse the pics quality. was almost nightfall with thick fog when clicked this pic.

An accent burning to glory near the Whitefield junction, bangalore. The tank burst with a loud thud and huge smoke going up in the sky. This was on 3rd, Monday night 8:30PM.

Wow how safe are we. What are the reasons generally for a tank burst ?

The lights are on!!! That means must have happened when people were inside.

dadu,

That's a scary picture. Hard to believe that it was a tank burst from the direction the flames are burning in. Seems more like sabotage to me. The only reason for a tank burst will be if there was a short somewhere and the fire spread to the tank undetected.

Any idea if the car was stationery when this happened and if any occupants (God forbid) were hurt?

That indeed is a scary pic! But yes, hard to believe its a tank burst.

by tank do you mean the petrol one or possibly an aftermarket LPG one?

Hope no one was in the car...

I am not saying that tank burst was the reason of fire, as I was not in the line fo sight of the accent due to a virtual jam, but heard and saw the smoke going up.

There were no occupants when I saw it and crowd had gathered but standing far behind, the heat was too much. Dont know if it was ddiesel, LPG or Petrol.

That's a horrific picture of the Accent. Did the tank burst after the car caught fire?

Bad sight this, and so was the magistrate's Accent a couple of pages back :(

Ghastly! But I find that the B and C pillars are quite intact, whereas the A pillar has crumpled under pressure. The front occupants may have suffered greater injuries. The B and C pillars are perhaps responsible for saving the occupants. A tribute to the solid built of the Tata range.

The Accent Inferno is also ghastly to look at.Does not look like a short circuit as fire starts in the engine bay, from around the battery in many short circuit cases.

A bajaj Discover bike caught fire at Dhaula Kuan around 1 AM .

a father, Mother and son Travelling on NH48 in a newly delivered Fiat Linea came face to face with a granite filled TATA Tipper. the tipper crashed into the Linea and Toppled Over it.:Shockked:

Father, Mother and Son Both Got out of the Car Unscatched, but shaken and clicked these pics! now that is a good Advertisement for being 'Built Like a Tank' the father came back to the dealership and Booked another Linea and swears that it was only because of the Tank Like Build Quality he, His wife and his son survived. Linea was a Total Loss and disposed as scrap for below three quarters of a lakh!

More pics of the Totalled car!:deadhorse

AWESOME. If only they had rolled out their service network for the Palio D and made it the car it had to be (rather than hobble it in the favor of the Vista) ... sigh! :)
