I think it serves the purpose of scarying us of the consequences.
I'd say keep it open....being paranoid, keeps one alive on our roads.

Drifter

This thread helps us post pictures of accidents which occur in different parts of our country.

Why should we post pics of these?
Just to show off to all Bhpians the accidents which happened in our neighbourhood.

Yes, :stupid:

I disagree. This thread does not tell us anything about safety or how to avoid accidents. And accidents differ in magnitude and scale, so you cannot differentiate build quality based on these.

I think this thread is nothing but online rubbernecking. Maybe it should be closed.

One has a choice, view or not view

I agree,
We should keep this thread open. I'm not sure about others and not very interested also. However, this thread educates me on what precautions can be taken to avoid accidents.. I feel it makes you aware of different situations on highways that may lead you to a disaster and tell you how to be careful when you deal with them.

I saw this car at Dewas naka in Indore today morning

Godfather

guys this thread is ment for posting the pics of accident vehicle...their is nothing wronge with this thread

Iam a regular visitor of this thread. Teaches a lot about importance of driving with utmost care.

And the best part is that you learn on where rash driving will leads one just by seeing the pics posted here (though the cause of accident of pics posted here are not known)

Though we talk a lot about racing tracks, top speeds, street dragging etc etc, these threads highlight the other side of driving.

Saw these car at MUL dealership awaiting repair.

just 3 of the 7 accidents which i saw in 500 kms of south indian road

Well, I'm sure you'll see the results of street racing out here!

Saw this at kalina near the army camp today in the afternoon.Apparantely on the downslope turn the truck came in real fast on the turn and went directly into the rickshaw. The driver was dead on the spot. The rickshaw handle had penetrated his stomach.
I reached the spot 15 min before the accident happened.By that time they had removed the driver from inside and was rushed to the hospital. On further enquring i was told he died right on the spot. The truck driver was taken into custody immediately by the police.

that auto looks really smashed up. you reached 15mins before the accident happened? or 15mins after?
