This picture is in circulation for years now. Looks like the autorickshaw got magical powers and strength from Rajani

Hey - With a costly car like Merc, you should have the bumper-to-bumper ZERO dep policy cover. Chances are that you already have it, your car being new. In that case, dent on your Merc would have worked out cheaper . You will only end up paying 2-3K and all they do is replace parts, not repair. So, some of your parts will be newer than your car. However, you can only do it twice during a policy period [1 year]
I rear ended a Creta when my C250 is less that 5 months old.

That CRETA has to stop abruptly because one bus guy jumped right in front of him. Being in a low slung sedan, I couldn't see the bus and by the time I sensed that the Creta stopped completely, I was too close to do anything.

The bill came to 10.5L. all I paid is 3K and my Grill, bonnet cover and one headlight, radiator are all replaced and NEW!!!

The accident seems true to me, but it is the presence of the Rajni image that seems to have been digitally tailored (obtained from some other source and pasted on this image strategically) on the photo of an otherwise unfortunate autorickshaw. Nonetheless, its a stuff rendered to bring out humour and it works well here.

In a high-speed crash that took place near Zirakpur on the Delhi-Shimla highway, a brand new Jaguar XE rammed into Toyota Innova. The accident took place in Panchkula in late hours of Friday. Here’s what happened.

That is amazing. To me, at least, because I have recently paid half that much for considerably less damage, tinkering/painting on a per panel basis. I had minor dents to a wheel arch and scratches on the rear door. And nobody to blame but myself: my ego was more damaged than the car!

Article says
"The occupants of the Innova were admitted to a government hospital while the occupants of the Jaguar were rushed to a nearby private hospital."

Couldn't help but notice the class divide

re: Accidents in India | Pics & Videos

Saw this online, a Maruti Ciaz splits into two parts after massive crash in Madurai.

It appears to be a test vehicle from a showroom being driven at very high speed on a 2 lane road, and i think most probably the accident is due to reckless overspeeding.

I read that the car was doing 170 kmph while it crashed into a tree. The test drive topic allegedly was top speed of ciaz at the time of mishap.

Sad that three lives were lost! As a ciaz owner, i know how unstable the car can be at that speed.

A similar incident happened few years ago where i was a witness to an accident. The owner along with the driver, visited this famous Road side temple in Chennai (near Vandalur) to perform the customary pooja to the Car. While driver performed pooja after placing the lemons before all the 4 wheels, he requested the owner to start and move the car ahead a bit. As it was drizzling a little, the owner with his wet chappals, tried depressing the accelerator and in the process got his foot stuck between the clutch and the accelerator pedals. And, in the melee, the car moved forward and hit 2 pedestrians including a child. While the child escaped with minor injuries, the other person had some fratures on her legs and hip. And , thus, the first service of his car became due by then!

Almost the same kind of accident
