Look at the way the i20 has climbed onto the divider. Had it been not there, the consequences could have been fatal

This looks more like Hyundai's silent ad campaign in reply to the recent Jeep launch. :D ;)

Sir you beat me to this comment. I too am impressed by how well the I20 has climbed the divider. I doubt Jeeps can do anywhere close to this type of stuff.

Today, I witnessed an accident and one which could have affected me too (fortunately it didn't)

Hi Hemanth - was there any update on this, i.e. did you try to reach out to authorities and what was their response?

Unfortunately no, I haven't been able to find any contact details of the cab driver. The Karnataka RTO Website is down.

The number is clearly visible and it is KA 51 9778. The only details I could get online is as shown below.
Attachment 1545686

I have asked a friend who has some contacts in RTO to get me the details.
He has told me he'll try but he also gave me a personal word of caution to not get into it.
I'm not sure what more I can do.

I hope he is not in a huge trouble.

Hi, picking this thread a little late. The Vahan app on google play store, seems to pull slightly more detail than the website does - at least the name of the owner. This is what I found, hope this helps.

Spotted this overturned Indica cab yesterday near Anjur phata petrol pump on the Thane Nashik highway.

It had created a massive jam on an already crowded road. Can't understand how it flipped over at this place. Maybe a freak traffic gap invited the driver to speed up and then lose control?

Any passengers had probably been taken care, though the accident seemed to have taken place minutes ago.

That looks like a Datsun Go to me. Correct me if I am wrong.

That's a Datsun Go, not Indica cab. Might be the cab was over speeding and in the process of avoiding a collision he would have swerved hard leading to toppling over.

That's uncanny. We passed by that route too on that very day. I took some videos and photos as well of the incident. Was anyone injured?

Happen to be one such lucky person. The Chevrolet Spark toppled on trying to take a turn at 100+ speed and was in a ditch. It happened within seconds but haunts me still now. There was blood all over and we pulled our DRUNK selves from the window. The guy at the rear seat had a terrible cut on the head, we thought he would die, he survived though, the scar is still there.

Its been years now, around 7, we all turn 30 this year and probably the slowest and safest drivers in our age group. It was a life changing experience.

Very much possible as I couldn't pay much attention to it when passing.

The road has been so crowded, it's surprising how he found the empty distance to overspeed.

The vehicle is a Datsun Go. I happened to pass by this place. There was a damaged tanker as well.

A 24 year old loses life after his brand new car hits a flyover and falls down. Police is trying to find whether this was a DUI accident. The guy was returning from his bachelor party.

Based on family and friends' suggestions, I decided that I didn't want to go to the police authorities.

Based on one of the suggestions here, I went to Bangaloreone, paid 18rupees and obtained the details of the car as in the below picture.

As contact data, I only
got the address and no phone number.

I had a long weekend last weekend due to some local holidays. So, I was free at home and so I drove to that address.
Unfortunately i didn't find anyone by that name in that address. I didn't pursue it any further.
