Its sad to see that AMG crash. People should learn to respect power and not abuse it. I think the more power one has, the more careful and responsible one needs to be on the road. If not for themselves then for others using the road.

Hanmust you should have posted it in http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/super-...hes-india.html. Is the owner of the merc from Pune

In fact the person who own the SL55 is not a person who explore the car to what its build for. He normally drive very calm & gentle (as per what I heard) & its a symbol of status for him. He use a S320 CDI for his regular use & use this SL only on weekends. So might not have know the exact power of the car & might have lost control on an occation he tried to push to its limit!

That's exactly the point where COMMON SENSE should kick in, well ahead of ABS and other stuff.

Today I saw a brand new Linea stuck between the footpath and a BMTC bus near Shoolay circle down brigade road (sorry no pics), felt really bad for the Linea owner....

I may be wrong, but does the ANHS have dics brakes at the rear. The car in the pic had this.

These pictures are from 1998 and the place the Ahmednagar-Shirdi road. The truck carrying brand new Gurgaon fresh Esteems overturned on the highway after hitting a Tata 608. Esteems and the Daewoo Cielo were the top-end cars then.

:D and all those Esteems were sent onwards to the dealers, who did a dent-and-paint job on them and passed them on to unsuspecting customers who queued up to buy them!! The good old nineties!

The ANHC has got alloys as well in the pic.

this was a recent accident involving a pulsar 220.

the guy was on the wrong side of the road at around 1 in the night. and he went off the road at a very high speed. the bike flew across a very wide canal and hit the opposite wall and fell. both the people on the bike were seriously injured. the rider suffered injury to his spinal cord and can no longer walk.

Man!! I can imagine how the bikers crashed..the canal,the wall...gives me goosebumps.Horrible..really horrible!:Shockked:

Why is the bike still there? Is it not causing toxic pollution?

Man, you ought to be kidding, just check the neighbours this ill-fated bike has for company :D
On a serious note, yes, authorities ought to have removed this bike from accident spot after 'panchnama' (I think that is the term) and taking pictures of the scene of accident.

BTW - this is not a canal but a sewage drain/nala
