Yes, there was a proposal for the same about a year back. Initially BBMP was planning of taking it up, later they asked the IT park (ORRCA) to take up half the cost.

They agreed for the same, couple of months later BBMP asked the IT park to take up entire amount. The project is stalled ever since.

Anyways, they have come up with a traffic signal below that flyover which is caused massive jam yesterday. So from now crossing roads is not going to be much trouble :deadhorse

There were many accidents in this section, only difference was that it was not captured in any camera.

I had seen this happening many times. Last week Tuesday, I was going from Bangalore to Hyderabad and somewhere after Anantpur, one truck loaded with
grocessaries turned turtle. It fall on its side, exactly 90 degrees to the traffic direction. So, no movement possible until the truck is removed. By the time I reached there, 100+ people are there, some are eating those biscuits, some are enjoying free drinks, some are collecting pickles. Nobody bothered to do anything to help the traffic. I started shouting people to come help in pushing the truck aside. After some time, another dozen or so joined hands and police appeared from nowhere. Though they did not do anything, at least they stopped the looting and hence people joined in pushing the truck aside. all it took is 20 people and 5 minutes, but that ruck and those people were there for more than 30 minutes there. Luckly, driver escaped unhurt. Lot of financial loss though.

Beats me completely why they built TWO flyovers ahead and behind the Ecospace stretch, while leaving the actual traffic spot intact. It should've been ONE flyover, end-to-end skipping Ecospace completely, with campus traffic going under it. Oh well, we're speaking of the same geniuses who gave us marvels like the KR Puram hanging bridge and the magic box underpasses.:Frustrati

If anything, that spot is a much bigger danger zone than the Esteem Mall crossing due to the sheer number of people who work in the campus and the number of lanes of crazy zig-zagging traffic crossing it. It's a scary and cringe-inducing stretch irrespective of time of day.

Intel and some other companies are pooling into build a slywalk. Whether our healthy techies use it is another matter!

A video of how useless and scum-of-the-earth people have become. This does not seem to be a major crash and there is hardly any damage to either of the cars.
But the reaction by Innova guy is horrible. Speechless. There are people who are working real hard to support the economy and the Innova guy seems to have a lot of free money.

This is outrageous. I will treat this in the same way as the Police is treating the case of the Kerala businessman running over the guard. This is absolutely a failure of law and order and a tight slap across the country. Goes to show the fear of law that is there. The guy did this in full daylight and in front of a Cop. :Shockked::Shockked:

I feel sorry for that child in the Innova to have had the bad luck of being born in such a home.

 Such hot headed guys should never drive. I pity the Wagon-R driver. Just look at the Innova driver's guts! And the retard police was just looking at the entire scene. Sad state of affairs, really.
