Driver got lucky, glad that he didn't ram into the parapet wall of the bridge.

If he went in any faster or braked later, the car would have flipped and chances of injuries would go much higher

Dont know whether the rider survived:

That's bad. Looks like an unregistered bike going by the red plate.

In all probability, its a Nepalese number plate. The skid marks show that it has been dragged in reverse, maybe the truck driver did not see the bike standing behind.

I did not notice any blood spatter/spills. I guess this was a parked bike and hope no one was injured.

Happened in Surat recently, Audi A6 wrecked.

I guess the air bags would have saved the lives of the passengers.

^^ The going pun is : look at the quality of construction of the pole in Gujarat- barely dented !

I wonder what material the pole was made from, usually in such a crash no way the pole would be intact.

Meanwhile, Donno how this happened but a water tanker toppled near the outer ring road.

Saw this after 20 mins it happened near Shivamogga this past Sunday. The driver, a retired doctor, was drunk and had paid 3k fines few hours earlier for rash driving in city limits :Frustrati The farmers working in nearby fields mentioned that he just came and rammed to the tree with full speed. Air bags were deployed and could see a dent on the front glass indicating he wasn't wearing the seat belt. Thankfully, the driver was safe enough to walk around with minor injuries to the head. No passengers.

We were en-route to Bengaluru in our GT TDi and made me a bit conscious for about 30 mins.

Gruesome crash, Is that Blood on the Left Running Board ?
Hopefully there was a passenger too. Wish the passenger also survived.

Hehe yeah. The crash happened last week, located barely a km from our plant on the 4-lane NH-6, Hazira. As usual, WhatsApp images were doing rounds.

Here is one that shows the cabin:

Seems intact.

Looks like the pole has ploughed in, this is the first time seeing such a scenario. Is it the speed at which it hit the pole or the crumble zone at work!! In either case, good to see the pole in tact:)
