Does not seem related, the link which you have given talks about a Swift accident and this seems like a Linea. |
Probably you are reading it on a mobile. The link points to post #58 on that thread (page 4) and does talk about a Linea.
An overtaking gone wrong or an emergency issue. Spotted near Mahindra First Choice Guindy.
No airbags and seat belt not used. Never able to understand why people do not use when it is given as standard equipment but if made a paid facility it (seatbelt atleast) may find more active users.

It looks like the Scorpio banged into a protruding rod of some truck. Else, i dont find a justifyable explanation for the hole in the windshield.
Also - the bull bar on one side looks undamaged.
The damage to the shell indicated a probable toppling. Will see if I can get more pics or information tomorrow.
Bus crushes doctor, 3-year-old child in Gurgaon. Quote:
According to passengers and witnesses, the bus was trying to speed away after hitting a rickshaw on Netaji Subhas Marg. It entered the wrong lane to overtake cars in front of it, hit a lamppost on the edge of the road and ploughed into the doctor and his daughter at such speed that they had no chance to react. Gupta died on the spot while Linoshiya succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital. |

Mess on the Ring Road.
The first pic is just opp to EcoSpace - Sarjapur ring rd and Next is on the start of the HSR Flyover towards Agara Lake. The Drivers cabin had broken and fallen upside down.:Frustrati
There are no Reflectors on the Flyovers which make it had for the first time users of the Road, it may also be fauld of the Driver.
^^ Saw the second one on my way to work at around 6.30am today. I have seen more than a few accidents here already, but it seems authorities haven't noticed yet. The parapet wall of the flyover you see is reduced by some 10 feet after a few accidents at that same place. What can we do for that? report to some authorities and have them put a big reflector/sign board that can avoid this?
Just a kilometer ahead of this point there was a broken black Punto besides the agara lake road (bit ahead of where it used to be Lemon Grass Restaurant) yesterday, it seemed that too hit the divider in the night and was in bad shape, that looked purely the negligence or rash driving during night though!

I don't know how many car will be able to survive that kind of accident. I wonder if a the driver survives such accident in a super safe Volvo, leave alone a Maruti.
Can't see an under-run bar for that truck. The car might have been in a better shape if the truck had one.

May her soul rest in peace. Its indeed a sad incident more because she was a mother of three children.
Seems she was not wearing the seat belt. In case she would have wore the seat belt she wont have been thrown out of the car.
http://www.firstpost.com/politics/ro...d-1494893.html In the above link its written there were paddy on the road that means they were driving through a village area. The condition of the Dzire indicates it was doing triple digit speeds in the night. We leave in a country where the leaders also disobey to follow the basic safety rules. :Frustrati

Okay, that image is for representation purpose only. That's what the website says. The vehicle in which the lady was travelling, overturned and did not go under a truck.
Nevertheless, this Dzire looks in terrible shape. Poor Maruti.
I wonder and also ask you, what would happen to a low slung Mercedes SLK Roadster if it went under this truck. I guess the A-Pillars would be very strong to hold the cabin intact ? That's your opinion ?

For people who think
any car is safe, try driving it under the rear end of a truck.
Spotted this accidental Honda City being towed in New Delhi.
