Patiala no. 13 can be seen along with many other cars, which our experts will be able to shed light on.

Identity of the R-R Patiala-13 is not conclusive. The other R-R is Phantom I (Chassis 38MC,"PATIALA-12").

Also seen a Cadillac (probably V8 or V12); and the Chrysler Imperial.

2 early Limousines, an Itala and a Fiat are on display in one of the state run museums in Patiala, probably in one of the palace museums. This must be the oldest Fiat in the country? Both cars look superbly preserved at first glance.

A brilliant way to secure the car for transport, making it one with the wooden sleeper.

Imagine securing a modern car in this manner. You would ruin the front axles and transmission, the oldies however would not bat an eyelid at this kind of treatment.clap:

Lovely pictures, Kartikeyal!

The car in the first photo is the Silver Ghost, chassis 55EM (currently registered MFA-3474). It is the second body by Hooper.

The second is also a Silver Ghost (78TG). Does anyone know the coachbuilder ?
