I have seen the cars myself, this is a neighbourhood garage in my hometown. I have some pics of their cars, will share tonight. The Chrysler, Jag's and most of their cars are single owned and kept lovingly. The royal family also has a black Ambassador Mark II and over three dozen Jeeps and SUV's, one of them is a SWB Low Bonnet Willys. I think I have a pic, will check and upload.

The family now stays in Ranchi and since childhood, I have had a chance to visit the garage couple of times and have seen and sat in these beauties. There used to be a massive Oldsmobile too with the family, but that used to stay in Bhubaneswar/Nayagarh residence and had been dieselized few years back.

The Chrysler and Jag's do come out in the roads often, specially during the winters and they are absolutely majestic !

Very nice! We see the Moon, now in Calcutta, and the 20hp with hand controls #64H9. The other Rolls is probably #66H3, Bharatpur and later Udaipur, though I have seen it also as RJY 3706.

Not Allahabad, the pictures have been clicked by me in Ranchi. The cars belong to the Nayagarh family, single owner and lovingly kept.

EDIT: The Corvette I spotted in Delhi did not sport a hardtop, while the one in moralfibre's pic has a hardtop. So might not be the same car, but the GJX registration confused me !

I've always known the Corvette to be a Kutch car, maybe at some point it was also with the Gondal family, not sure. The top is a winter top, i.e. removable hard top. 99% the same car.

Must be the Kutch car then. The picture didn't bear a caption and for some reason I always thought Gondals had a Corvette.
