Congratulations for winning the prize for best restoration.

For us to appreciate your car, you need to put a lot more better pictures. Please post before and after pictures so that we can appreciate the restoration.

Looking forward for more pictures.

It appears in prewarminor.com though as Kartik Lunia's 1930 Minor Tourer USJ 1795 attended the 14th Jaipur Antique & Vintage Car show

re: My Morris Minor 1930 OHC Tourer

Lovely car. In my college days I had access to a similar car which I took to college a couple of times. Easy to drive, and when you have such a car you don't need to buy a Nano. But always make sure your brakes are OK.
Is there any history to the car, and do you have pictures of the car before restoration started?

Cheers harit

re: My Morris Minor 1930 OHC Tourer

The car was bought from Lucknow and before that was in Ayodhya ,
the registration changed from UPX to USJ some time in the 1950's.

I still have to do some research and find out about the first owner.

couple of pictures of the car before restoration.

I believe not many Pre war Morris Minors OHC cars have survived in India.

Cheers

Congrats Kartikeya on winning the award.

After looking at the before and after pictures i am able to much appreciate the amount of effort that has gone into it. Very well deserved i should say.

Nice car! And nice resto too!

The car was first owned by Raja Saheb of Ayodhya and then passed on to Shri V.N. Mishra, IPS (Retd.), who re-registered the car in lucknow sometimes in late forties , early fiftees , so the car lost the UPX number and got the USJ no.

The car then remained in ownership of shri V.n Mishra and then was acquired by me last year. I am trying to get some old documents from Shri Mishra , hopefully some old pictures too.

regards
Kartik

Hi,

The clubs in UK would be very interested to know about any pre-war Morris minors in India (1928-34) , do you have any more details about the OHC minors in Ahmedabad and Delhi, some pictures if possible would be great.

Thanks
Kartik
