Hi Buddy,

A fellow Fiat Club member lives in Koramangala, he maintains his car somewhere in his area. Attached is the Pic of his car.

Do get in touch with him. He would be more than glad to help you put your car flying on roads all over again.

re: Fiat 1100 Club - Bangalore [FCB]

Hi..would anyone here have an idea about an 1100D - registration number MEV 4503?
I had sold this car in 2008 to another member called Santosh, but he seemed to not be so active on tbhp.
Was wondering if anyone had any idea about the car, last i knew, the car was in Bangalore itself.

re: Fiat 1100 Club - Bangalore [FCB]

Hi,
I thought I will share with you pictures of my recently restored Fiat (My late Father's). Initially i wanted to sell it but later changed my mind. It is almost done. I want to do some upholstery work etc and something about the wheels. Being new to this I would appreciate help/comments. You can throw bricks at me if you wish...I am man enough to take it

re: Fiat 1100 Club - Bangalore [FCB]

Immaculately restored Fiat, the outcome of restoration is top notch. I specially love those thin whitewall tyres, they look in very good condition, i hope you are not planning to change/alter the rims. I would suggest to keep the wheels the way they are, atmost fit suitable half wheel caps for that period look.
BTW which model (year) Fiat is it? Also can you share some pics of the interior and engine bay, would like to have a peek under the hood .

re: Fiat 1100 Club - Bangalore [FCB]

Thanks Samsag for the compliments. I will take some pics of engine bay later and post them. It is 1990 model. The upholstery is not in good condition and want to change it soon. I have no plan to change the wheel/tyres. However i may paint the wheels white and put the original wheel caps. I saw such a combination recently and it looked very nice. Your suggestion on this idea is welcome.....

Ok so its a happy Padmini of the 90s. I hope you get the upholstery work done soon. I presume you are going to keep it as stock as possible.
Regarding painting the wheels, i would say refrain from doing so as silver looks good on your car (body color being white), a nicely chromed half wheel cap will make the wheels look total period & also complement those whitewalls. Just my 2 cents.
PS: will be eagerly waiting for the pics.

EDIT: Just noticed in the 2nd pic, there seems to be some amount of surface rust creeping from the left lower dicky seal area( just behind the rear mud flap) I hope you attend to it soon.
