Hello FCBian!

FCB will be having its next Meet cum Rally on the 21st Nov'10 in Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Bangalore. Team-FCB requests all its members and guests to come along with their families and participate whole heartedly, also we like to see more number of cars this time for the long drive.

Meet and Rally Details :

1. Enter LALBAGH from the NORTH-GATE, or else better know as Double-Road Entrance. Once you Enter the gate, drive straight till a CIRCLE and take LEFT and drive till the dead-end. [* Same venue of the last meet on 4th July 2010]

2. City drive will be of approximately 8KM, which will START from the Venue and END at Golf-Course, Sankey road. Map will be provided at the venue

3. Long drive for Lunch will be towards BIAL, at a restaurant called "THE GREEN PARK" which is about 8KM after the airport. One side distance is approximately 35KM, hence total of 70KM drive.

4. Agenda details:

0900Hrs to 1000Hrs : Assemble and Members Talk
1000Hrs to 1045Hrs : Official Founders speak and Members speak.
1045Hrs to 1115Hrs : Photo session
1115Hrs : Line UP
1125Hrs : Flag off of City-Rally
1215Hrs : End of City-rally at Golf Course Road
1230Hrs : Start of Long drive towards BIAL for lunch (one side 35KM drive)
1500Hrs : Meet Ends after Lunch.

FCB's new member! SUPER Neat body line. Feel really happy seeing such well maintained FIATs.

Unfortunately, I cannot attend the FCB Meet as I have to go to Chennai for a wedding.

However I have requested my father Ganapathy and our neighbour Wg Cdr. Mudaliar to attend the meet. Wg Cdr. wants to join FCB with his Select. Unfortunately the car is blocked with the road being dug up. Hence they both will come together in our Wolseley.

Is this new FCB member's car from Jayanagar. I have seen this car many times parked in front of a house in Jayanagar. As I used to work in Bannerghatta Rd, had to pass-by Jayanagar everyday and was admiring this car.

@Pavan : The 118 NE looks great! The white wall tyres add to the classic look. Can't wait to see the pictures of the completed car!

Folks, I am currently experimenting with making white wall tyres at home. My scooter's stepney is the Guinea pig as of now! You can check out the results of the first experiment on page 8 of the HCSC thread. Here is the link : http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/post-w...ml#post2146308

Once I refine the process, I am going to try it on our 118 NE's tyres. Let us see how things turn out. And yes, 118 NE spare parts have always been costly and nowadays some of them are hard to find. So it is a good idea to stock them whenever you get a chance.

The climate was nice and rainy till few days back. Today its bright sunny! We shall miss the rains.

Waiting to drive to Lalbaug! I will be driving my NE and Arun will drive my s1. Chethan and Pavan's NE too will be coming.

FCBians ROCK! It was great meeting Mr. Pavan Kadam of Bangalore Beetle Club, Chethan of NE Club Bangalore. Mr. Sudhindra of Contessa, RamPrasad from BCSC, Sharath from Jawa Club and Mr. Ganapathy Subbaiah(Dad of KPS) of KVCCC. This was indeed a historic meet for FCB.

It was a 9 hrs Meet. So just these pics for now.
