This car is being restored in Bangalore's biggest place for Modifications and Accessories "Hot Tracks". So obviously some mod work had to be done.

As Manish said, all original parts are safe. I think the only modification to this car is Alloy wheels, Disk brakes and bucket seats. Everything else is Original FIAT.

alloy wheels look good on any car with a suitable design and size. i feel for the select its not suiting the best. if he has upgraded to 15"wheel with slick tyres, would have suit better.

Good to see FCBians welcoming lots of new members and helping them in restoration too.

I am also keenly following this thread where I see FCB founders Karthik M.B, Makam, Suji and Arun helping FCBian Manish restore his car. Hats off to Pavan Kadam too.

I agree to what Ram says! Alloys definately give a different look to any car. People spend a fortune on cars to give a different appeal. Abroad the vintage, classic cars are converted into Hot rods, drag race cars etc with all the mods and they gain special attraction.

I see a lot of FCB guys have cool cars. As I said earlier we have two classes some like period, originals and few want to try their ideas and I don't see anything wrong its all love in different forms.

This super select is absolutely stunning and I would love to see all the new kind HOT WHEELS burning the roads, pretty Banglorian girls watch out!! guys gonna hang around these beauties.

The best part of this Fiat's restoration is the quality of work done. It almost looks like a new car!

Talking of modded Fiats, today my s1 got a new look! I got a custom made headers from a very renowned place in Bangalore. Also fixed a sun shade. Some mods done previously done was Jalwa horn, Delight grille fog lamps and free flow exhaust with two inch pipe.

The car really roars now and catches the attraction of all new gen car owners.

My s1 looks like a Modern Classic car! I know some may find it weird bit I like it!

Experts, is this a Fiat ?

I recently came across this car parked in BLR outside a small garage. I am guessing it is a Fiat! I could not get in touch with anyone at the garage. Will try to find out more and post is as I gather more information. Experts - go for it!

Yes Arun, it was parked by the side of the road very near to the Mosque in Frazer Town. I saw for the first time this afternoon. I enquired at a small garage nearby but couldn't gather much! I waited for over 30 minutes but nobody showed up at the garage. Anyway, good that you guys are aware of it!

Hi guys!!
Good to see such good Fiats in one place. I have a 1984....hate to sell or scrap it.

I still do a cool 3000kms with it at short notice. I had a dream - driving it up Leh ....but dont know if I can fulfill that. Finding it difficult to maintain the car, though.
Lots of these cars are scrapped due to lack of good mechanics and spares. Feel sorry to see them torn to pieces :(
You guys have done the Fiat some real Justice.

Congrats, Good Luck & Best Wishes !
