This is another car I had first posted on Sanjay's Restorer/Collector Thread and felt that it should be on it's own for ease and continuity of this restoration project. Sanjay is not certain what year it is but will try to have the Jaguar-Daimler Heritage Trust give a history on it.
I will repost most of the relevant photos for the record.
The more I work with the Team BHP website, the more impressed at how well it is structured and most important how many enthusiasts are using it. We lovers of the Vintage and Classic cars might be in a minority, but once the kids get tired of playing with their new toys, there will be a shift to appreciate the roots of this industry and while I don't think anyone will build monuments to us, recognition will be given to those who have made such a contribution in preserving our Automotive Heritage.
Getting ready to return to Toronto and will miss being on the spot here in Calcutta. Any Team members here that could keep the feed alive?
I will encourage Billy to post regular photos and will be posting photos of some of the better Mark 10s back home for reference and hopefully assistance.
Mr. Milne, now that you are in Calcutta, could you please tell us about the present condition of the car, how much has been restored and if possible could you also put up some pictures? I am very curious to know!
Regards,
Souvik
