Ofcourse yezdi's came with a twin cylinder. They were mounted on a monarch chassis. And jawa tanks in bombay will be hard to come by. You are probably better off swiping one from another jawa

In the last picture can see two Jawas/Yezdis parked in the background.

Hi Chanu,
I am in the process of buying a Jawa- negotiating with the seller. I hope you would share with me how you restored your bike to this immaculate condition. I also hope all the parts would be available some how.

Sure Zip drive I can help you in all regards. Which mode is that you are buying. If its a pre 67 mode than be sure it should have large hubs. Most of the bikes are converted to small hubs of yezdi's due the noise or play which creates by the old hubs as they don't have rubber but they have a gear inside.

No offence, but it looks weird without the pinstripes. (could do with vinyl/reflective stripes)

Very neat bike, looks it used to be a daily family runner, Just a was would make it wonderful. Appropriate speedometer of 70's. What all is required is the small tail lamp. I appreciate the owner who must be using as a daily runner yet with the old eight shaped seat if not in most bikes its changed to Yezdi seat.

By the way are you planning to buy this beauty ? or was it a spot the unexpected kind of thing.

@stampro: Thats a nice bike to restore. Looks like a pre-1967. If it is offered for sale, do pick it up. Very few original parts are missing
