Hi: Can i ask why u changing it to bigger wheels? The original ones are nice for zipping around in the city. The 18 inch wheels first came out in the 350 twin.

Non availability of new 16 3.5 tyres could be one reason.

Thanks for the info. I thought the last few came with the 16-inch mag wheels. Like the one u see in the picture.

So the last few rolled out with bigger swingarms? I dont think the 18-inch wheels fit on the standard swingarm.

Remember zipping around on my uncle's 1970 model Jawa in the late 80's. My uncle later moved to Kerala in 1990 and unfortunately sold off the bike without informing me, missed a golden oppurtunity to own one !

Also it looks like these bikes had the internal throttle assembly, can any one update me on this. I want to have an internal throttle on my Bajaj Avenger, where can i find / do it.

1967 Jawa

My 67 jawa which I picked up from a scrap merchant was put to restoration by a thorough bred jawa mechanic ultimately after some trial & error sessions by few amateur fellas (photos attached)
